The story main street relate to it by the way we played it. We played it with rules we had to sit still. Also we had to follow direction in order to to pass. We had decision to make it was to really know what you wanted.
I can relate many things text to life. I class Ms.Russell gave us an activity to do. We had to fallow by her rules. We had to count the ceartin amount of f's in a quote she gave us. I can relate this to the story we read called "Moving into Mainstream". I can elate because in mainstream there was a blind kid. The school he went to they treated him different. They laughed at them or mimic others.Only because of the difference. In our activity one person move to a different place every one laugh. We all had the same ammount of f's n the paper. Not every one learned the same. We all got different things. like in Mainstream people learned different.
There are many reasons how the story relates to the activity yesterday counting F's.In the story "Moving into mainstream".On p.g 102 Slade wants to go to another junior high. The way he wants to be different from the other students is by changing schools. Slade is making more extra work for himself I think that he made a challenging decision. For many reasons I think Slade could of stayed at the school he was at already. Then he wouldn't have extra classes to take.
There are many ways the story "moving into mainstream" relates to the counting f's activity.Example of one way that the activity relates to the story is because in the activity there were some f's that some of miss because we didn't see them and in the story Slade Anderson was half blind sighted and she could not see that much thing. Another example of how the activity and the story relate to each other is because the activity was very risky and Slade Anderson changing her school was very risky.
Risk taking is very difficult, you could only succeed if your good at it. The story "Moving into Mainstream" and the counting the f's are Alike because someone took a risk. Tevin, my classmate took a risk by going to the 10's. Tevin took that risk because Ms.Russell was manipulating him, and he felt for it.In the story Billy told him come to Murrow. It actually ended up to be a good expirience. He had a great year at Murrow. He was riskie on the edges but he knows how to succeed.Risk taking is not easy as long as you know where to go and how to do a certain thing.
Some people get treated differently. For example the character in the story "MOVING INTO MAINSTREAM" he was treated different because of the problem he had which was being blind.Another example is a text to self connection was when we had the counting f's activity and MS.Russell gave the class a chance to change their groups and she influence Tevin to move the same way Billy from the story "MOVING INTO MAINSTREAM" INFLUENCED THE CHARACTER.
Most people can compare and contrast things. In the story "Moving into Mainstream the main character Slade was blind. He went to the New York Institute Of Special Education. The activity yesterday "Counting F's " is just like the story.Everybody in the activity was either on the number's 6,7,8 and 9.When we had a second chance to move only one person moved because he was influenced. The main character Slade was influenced to go to the Edwin.R.Murrow by his friend Billy and Chris who were once in the Institute. Both people who were influenced in the both the activity and the story "Moving into Mainstream" was scared.Slade and the student didn't know to stay where i am the same and nobody's gonna treat me different.Or to go and be my own.By being influenced Slade from "Moving into Mainstream" he took a risk also the same for the student in the activity.People are different in all types of ways but when your influenced it's not your way of being different.
Many things, places and people are related in life.Well "Moving Into Mainstream" relates to the activity we did Counting F's by in one way.The story to "Moving Into Mainstream" relates to the activity called Counting F's by telling us that we all are not the same.Meaning we are different from one another and think differently. For example, that' why people were standing in different numbers. Also just because we some one is different from you you should not treat them different because if you had what they had you would not like to be treated like your treating that person. So remember this "Treat Others As You Want To Be Treated".
Being different from other is good sometimes. For example in a story call "Moving into the Mainstrem" by Slade Anderson, age 18. He was different. He was a blind person. He want to school called New York Institute for Special Education. But, Slade did not like the school. He did not like the school because there other students that had other problems, teacher's and stuff had to follow him around. He said to him self "What kind teenage life is this" He want to go to a public hight school.
It's not easy being different. The story "Moving into Mainstream," by Slade Anderson, age 18 is about a person that is different. Slade wants to have a regular teenage life. He takes a risk of going to a new school. Based on reading "Moving into Mainstream," the story relate to the Counting F's Activity I participated in yesterday because the activity was about making a risky decision to be different or be the same and in the story Slade does make a risky decision to either be the same or be different."I learned that there is life outside the blind world and if I want to be part of it, I have to go out and take some risks."
Many things, places and people are related in life.Well "Moving Into Mainstream" relates to the activity we did Counting F's in one way.The story "Moving Into Mainstream" relates to the activity called Counting F's by telling us that we all are not the same.Meaning we are different from one another and think differently. For example, that's why people were standing in different numbers. Also just because someone is different from you,you should not treat them different because if you had what they had you would not like to be treated like your treating that person. So remember this "Treat Others As You Want To Be Treated".
All people learn differently. In the story "Moving into Mainstream" by Slade Anderson. Yesterday in class we had to do the counting f's activity. In the activity we had to make a hard decision alone and that relates to the story "Moving into Mainstream". The activity relates to the story "Moving into Mainstream" because Slade had made a decision to move from a school that helped him to a public school. HE did that because he wanted to feel like the other kids so he took a big risk like we did in the f's activity.
NOBODY in life will be the same as anyone else.Everyone thinks, reads and writes differently. In the story "moving into the mainstream" the speaker,Slade, is blind. He is different than everyone else he meets. He doesn't see what we see[of course].We all SEE differently. For example yesterdays assignment, counting the F's.Not everyone saw nine F's.There for EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT.
They're a few ways that the story and the Counting F's activity can relate. I think that people should accept themselves for who they are.For example pg. 102 slade was visiting new high schools. He was okay for the most part but the handouts and the work wasn't meant for him and by trying to fit in he made it more difficult for himself. The counting F's you had to pay really good attention to do good to receive a 100. Not everyone would have been fit to do the activity. Slade was trying to fit in with the regular high school kids and do regular work and maybe activities like counting F's when he really knew he couldn't. He would have been better off in mainstream school.
The character in the story Slade is a very risky person. In the story Moving into the Mainstream, Slade wanted to move to a new school. Just so he can be different than the others. But how it relates to the counting F's game is that 1 person in our class made a risky decision because he thought that the decision he already made was probably not right. He felt intimidated. Our teacher Ms. Russell was asking us "are you sure?" Thus smiling about. That 1 person, Tevin made a risky decision.
Making decisions is not that hard when you have more than one try. Also if you know what decision your making. Just like the kid in "Moving into the Mainstream". The teens name is Slade Anderson .The story relates to the
There are many reasons how the story relates to the activity counting F's.For example in the story it says that he wanted to go to another school(junior high).I said he should have stayed in the school that he was on cause he wouldn't have extra work for himself.Slade made a difficult decision but thats what he wanted.Slade had to follow directions and sit still.
There are many people in the world that takes risk in making decisions. Most of the time risk taking is what you have to do in order to make a decision. For example, in the story “ Moving into Mainstream,” called a high school student name Slade is blind and he is in a school for blinds. Slade does not like being in that school because he get treated like a little kid. So one day Slade blind friend Billy tell him about a public school called “Edward R. Murrow”. Slade takes a risk in asking his mother can he go to the public school. His mother let Slade got to the school. After that day Slade felt normal in that school he felt like a regular kid and he loved it. The way I relate to this story is by the…
In life you could relate to many things no matter what it is. For example, when reading the short story "Moving into Mainstream" I related it to the activity we did in class about counting F's. They relate to each other because in the short story the main character Slade was blind and some of the people doing the activity were also blind because they miss counted. They also relate to each other because you have to pay attention to what you are doing. Plus they relate to each other because Slade from the short story was a risk-taker and during the article we took a risk to see how many F's was on the slip. These are reasons why I think that both the short story "Moving into Mainstream" and the activity we did on counting the F's are both related in a weired way.
Have you ever saw something in front of you and thought it was something different that you might not picked up. Well in the reading "MOVING INTO MAINSTREAM" the story was about a teenager that was blind and wanted to go through things that a regular person who can see goes through. i can relate to that story with our activity because kids like my self could not catch thing right in front of us. It kind of made me feel salted after reading the story because the blind teenager was able to risk thing and go to a regular school and do things regularly and that was cool of him.I think now i should pay attention more and catch more things then other people can. i want to push myself like that blind kid.
A lot of stories, in some way connect to life. In the story the boy was blind and in order to read he had to feel the bumpy things on the page. The bumpy things really meant something and was not just a bump. In the assignment in class we had to count the f's we saw in the words on the page. The connection I see is that they both use focus. I noticed that when you rush through the statement and not really focus you ended up skipping over a f.In the story the boy, Slade had to focus o the feeling of the bumpy things to actually figure out what they are.
Relating text to text is not that hard maybe relating text to world is harder. The story "Moving into mainstream" can really e related to the counting F's activity. The story is about a blind boy named Slade he is in junior high. The story relate to our activity because you need to take your time when your looking at something. For example yesterday when w were counting the F's we didn't have that much time and Slade had to take his time to learn the landmarks in his school and how he could get around. I believe you always need to take your time when your doing something.
When learning through your own way and still being able to comprehend is a great gift. Yesterday the counting Fs activity showed how differently the kids were able to understand. Also there was a comparing to slide in "Moving into mainstream" because slide is blind and learns differently then the other students.Every one isn't perfect or the same so accepting one for who they are can open the eyes of one how difference is good for a change.
Well many thing are related to each other some how.The story "moving into mainstream"is related to counting f's because i said so.In the story the main character is kind of blind. The activity we did we acted like we was blind. So they alike in more ways too because these both are things to show we are blind.
your eyes can play tricks on you.in the counting f's activity we had to use our eyes to count all the f's.some of use when we was look at the f's for some reason some of us skip some f's.in the story "Moving Into The Main Stream"the main character Slade is blind.so he get a lot of people helping him.so it look like we need the help.
In life you will always come across a person with some type of difference than you. That's just the way it is. In the story "Moving into Mainstream" the main character of the story Slade did particularly enjoy school. In the activity "Counting F's" that we participated in on Monday we learned that some people do sometimes struggle with reading and comprehending things. In the story "Moving to Mainstream" Slade is treated differently than other students that go to different schools. He is blind so he has to be followed around and waited on hand and foot by staff members and teachers. Where as with the students that don't have disabilities have more freedom than Slade does. We learned Monday people have different ways of learning and comprehend things differently.
I think that there are many way how the story "Moving To Main Street" relates to the f activity we did on Friday. I think that because when we was asked to count the numbers o f"s some of us got the wrong amont then there really was. Maybe that was because some people couldn't see that good. I think that relates to the story because in the story the boy was blind and he couldn't see nothing.
Everyone have to make that one decision/risk. In the story,"Moving into Mainstream," a boy named Slade who was blind was persuade to go to a new school where his goes. Slade took that risk to go somewhere new. For Slade to make a risk like that relates to an activity we done the other day of counting F's. We all counted how many F's are in this quote. Some misspelled but took that risk of what they have is that number. Just gotta know how to count unlike other people!!
There are many ways the story "moving into the mainstream" and the counting F's game can relate. The story "moving into the mainstream is about a boy who is blind and gets transferred to the Murrow. In the activity, you had to count the F's in a short sentence. I think the story and the activity can relate because when we did the activity, we were blind just like the boy because we said there were a certain number of F's but we realized there were more than we thought.
Its always the important things that relate. For example, Going to college. College relate to getting an education in elementary, jr. high, and high school. In the story "Moving Into the Mainstream", Slade wants to go to a different type of school he knows nothing about. He doesn't know what he's getting himself into. The story relates to counting F's because it deals with eye-sight.
There's many things that can be related in life. For example,in the story "Moving Into Mainstream" Slade wanted to be different from everyone else. One thing is how Slade wanted to go a different school because it was a better school. In my point of view it's relates to the activity counting f's because in the story "Moving Into Mainstream" they treated Slade differently because of the way he was.In the activity counting f's everyone would laugh at somebody if they did wrong or differently. That's how it relates in story "Moving Into Mainstream and activity counting f's.
There is many things how the character Slade is related to the work we did on counting f's. he had it good but it was just to organized for him to keep doing the same thing. so one of his friends suggest he go to another school.
Anything can happen in life. For example,I can't see very well, but I try my best.Monday in Ms.Russell's class we had to count F's.The first time we counted I got six,but I counted it one more time, and I got nine.Well in the story "Moving into Mainstream," Slade is blind.Slade was blind ,but got around the school like can see.The story, and the acticv
