If you were a doctor would you save someone's life and break the law? Dr.Grim, the main character in the "Price of Life" saves John Simon's life even though he doesn't have insurance. John Simon suffers a stroke while in a seminar. Dr. Grim decides to transfer John Simon to the University Hospital so he can receive the best care. Dr. Grim feels that saving a life is more important than money. On page 120, she says, "That's the last thing in the world I'm worried about."
Everybody should have a chance to save somebody life. For example,D.r grim had saved the person that had a stroke which is John Simon when he didn't have a proper insurance.As a group we decided that Dr. grim saved has life because she wanted to find out if it was just a cott or it was serious.Another reason is how Dr.Grim didn't believe that there was a price on life.So on she did what ever it take to keep the man alive.
A life at stake would make a big impact on those who are in true need of help. Dr. Grim probably tried to attempt to save John Simon's life because the sympathy for him and his wife. He also was a man involved in the insurance company so John Simon would probably have help from his job also.
she problely just felt bad for John Simons and just help him to live. i would do that if a person had not have the proper insurance. thats just losing another life for a dum reason. Also she needed to find out if he needed to use a new treatment.
Some people in the world have a caring heart. Dr.Grim was the type of person that was caring. The man was having a stroke, so she had no choice but to save his life. It probably was a little to late to stop the surgery. He might have died if she did not do the surgery.
There is a reason for everything that happens. For example, in the story " The Price Of Life" DR.Grim attempted to save John Simon's life without life insurance. Dr.Grim disobeyed the law. She must care about others a lot. John life was on the line.
